Whether you have a cracked tooth, a large old filling that’s weakening, or a gap from a missing tooth, crowns and bridges are reliable, long‑lasting ways to restore your smile’s strength and appearance. At Marina Klappas DDS, P.C., we custom‑fit both to blend naturally with your surrounding teeth.
A crown (or “cap”) fits over a damaged or weakened tooth, restoring its shape and protecting it from further breakdown. Crowns are often recommended after a root canal, for a tooth with a large filling, or when a crack threatens the tooth’s structure.
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring an artificial tooth to the crowns on either side of the gap. It’s a reliable, non‑surgical alternative to implants for restoring your bite and smile.
Most crowns and bridges are completed over two visits. At your first visit, we prepare the tooth and take a digital scan for a precise fit (we’re perfectionists!). You’ll leave with a comfortable temporary while your custom restoration is made. At your second visit, we check the fit and bond your permanent crown or bridge in place.
Dr. Klappas takes the time to walk you through your options and materials so you understand exactly what’s being done and why. Our restorations are designed to look natural, feel comfortable, and last for years.
We serve patients throughout Williston Park, East Williston, Mineola, Roslyn, and the greater Long Island community looking for lasting, natural-looking restorative work.
